Siemens — Remodel
Occupied-building storefront remodel of two West Sam Houston Parkway buildings, performed after hours and on weekends to avoid disrupting Siemens employees.
The Siemens project was a remodel consisting of two separate buildings at 1200 and 1202 West Sam Houston Parkway North. Both buildings were occupied by Siemens employees, so the work had to be done after hours and on weekends so as not to interrupt the employees during their regular business hours.
The project consisted of removing existing storefront entrances, exterior framing, exterior glass, and existing flashing; and installing new exterior and interior flashing at the sill condition, Oldcastle multiplane thermally broken storefront, and new entrances and doors. The glass that was replaced was 1" insulated glass consisting of (SB70XL Bronze / 1/2" Air / 1/4" Clear) tempered over tempered.
